Breaking Down AdvisorOS

The whole year has felt like a blur but at the same time, it's been the best year of business since I started in 2020. I credit a lot of it to simply showing up every day and knowing exactly what I need to be working towards.

I've mapped out goals, have progress checks, and track my daily actions.

So today, I want to share a breakdown of the tool I use to "house" all of that information: AdvisorOS

I made a video tutorial for it here, but below are highlights of the most helpful sections and how they can be used:

1) Goals / To-Do List

The most helpful thing I use Notion for. You can easily keep track of daily/weekly/monthly tasks, add context to them, and have an overview of what you're working on:

2) Content Engine

While you may not currently create multiple types of content, the Content Engine is designed to make creating (& organizing your creations) much simpler.

You can keep track of blog posts & ideas, video scripts, newsletter editions, and view a list of tools & inspiration:

3) Wins

To make it easier to get through the tough days, I like keeping a "wins" folder. Kind comments, publication features, milestones, and more can be documented in one, organized place:

4) Practice Management

If you run (or want to run) an extremely lean practice, rather than piecing together different pieces of tech, you can use AdvisorOS to manage new business, processes, client gifting, and more:

5) Custom Client Portal

I've used this with a few clients and they love it. You don't have to put any sensitive information in it and it likely won't replace a CRM, but it can add to the client experience:
