To help advisors create a memorable digital presence, I made a series on how to build a simple, DIY website with Framer:
I've never used this specific platform before, but I've been building websites for the past two years. So to make the learning as comprehensive as possible—and to help someone work through questions they have when getting started—I'm going to screen-record the process of building a website from scratch.
Converting Attn: Capital will be used as the sample brand and all of the messaging will be generic so that anyone can edit to fit their own brand & voice.
💡 The website is available as a template for members to edit, redesign, and publish as their own.
This first video covers:
- Why Framer
- Making sense of the platform
- Thinking through & designing a home page
🎡 I think Framer is better than standard tools like Wix or Squarespace, more customizable (and cheaper) than industry-specific platforms, but not as scalable as Webflow or Wordpress.
In other words, it's perfect for a majority of RIAs - but I wouldn't recommend it to firms who plan to scale & grow with content long-term, and would opt for either Webflow or Wordpress.

The goal of Learning Framer, Together is to help anyone create a simple, scalable website. A lot of the existing platforms & industry-specific companies don't have the best design features.
So I recorded every second of learning a new website tool, designing & building each page, and now anyone in the Club can access & customize the template to their own brand or business:
If you have any questions or would like to see certain features built into the template, please let me know!
I plan to keep making more in the future and if there's something specific you'd like to see built, I'm sure someone else would too.
